We couldn’t have been more excited about our limited release Whisky Barrel Gin in partnership with our neighbours at Starward Distillery (the Most Awarded Distillery of the year!). This collab is about two of Australia’s leading distilleries coming together. Both Melbourne born and bred. The best whisky and gin distillers in the country. We both own our crafts and keep our focus on our hero spirit; whisky and gin. This means we do it pretty damn well.

How we made Whisky Barrel Gin:
Some neighbours ask to borrow sugar…. we ask for Starward barrels….
When it came to Starward Nova whisky barrels, resting our Blackthorn Gin (a modern Aussie sloe gin), was an easy choice. Nova is matured exclusively in red wine barrels, while Blackthorn rests with handpicked Tasmanian sloe berries.

Two months later, we are left with something truly unique. We’ve gone where others wouldn’t. A barrel aged gin with next level refinement, complexity and boldness.

How we’re drinking it:
Smooth and complex when sipped neat. Comes to life in cocktails. And naturally, works exceptionally well with food.
