A collaboration between two of Victoria’s finest independent producers. Wine and gin….done better.

We’ve bottled the best of Victoria, and it’s damn near perfect.

In 2021, we thought we’d have a go at this wine and gin thing, but we wanted to do it differently, and do it better. So, we partnered with 6ft6, a second-generation family owned and operated winery in the Moorabool Valley, Geelong. They make wines for good times and adventures and they just so happen to make one of Australia’s best Pinots!

We looked at a lot of grape varieties, there were too many to count, to see what made sense and what worked best, shiraz gin, ganache gin, rose gin? Stacking them all up, we couldn’t go past the results, the taste, the flavour of the pinot grape variety.

Each year, the Patient Wolf team head out to the Valley for vintage and pick some grapes (although we probably just get in the way), followed by a long lunch and laughs with the 6Ft6 team.

Step aside Shiraz Gin, our Pinot Noir Gin is back for a third instalment.

We’ve blended 6Ft6 Pinot Noir grapes with our Melbourne Dry Gin to create a Gin wine of sorts… This year’s vintage was picked late March and steeped for just over six weeks. After a light press, we’re left with a gin that’s bright in both colour and flavour, with silky tannins and juicy red fruit notes.

Deeply perfumed with rich layers of cherry, strawberry, plum and a hint of cacao – the perfect blend of distilled botanicals and fresh Pinot Noir grapes.
